Who's ready for spring?!
I'm excited to share with you today my latest paper piecing pattern -
the Hexie Bunny Block!
This quick little guy, with the cutest 1" hexie tail,
is sure to put a little hop in your step this spring.
Easter has always been a favorite holiday of mine
because it means the sunshine of spring is on it's way
(as well as my birthday, haha!)
With my current obsession with Mini Mini Quilts,
and my participation in the #easterbasketswap on Instagram,
I knew I just had to make a little bunny friend this year.
Throw in a ridiculous love for all things involving hexies,
and the Hexie Bunny Block was born!
This paper pieced block finishes at just shy of 3" x 8",
and uses a standard 1" English paper pieced hexie for his tail.
The PDF pattern includes not only paper piecing patterns and construction tips,
but measurements for sashing to finish him into a 5" x 10" Mini Mini Quilt.
And there's a BONUS because I love you!
There are also sashing measurements included to make a six bunny mini quilt
finishing at 13" x 19"!
That means all the math is done for you and you can have
a festive springtime mini quilt for your home
in just an afternoon or two!
I had such a fabulous team of testers help me get this pattern ready for you,
and I think as you can see from their projects and photos,
the uses for this little Hexie Bunny are nearly endless!
Baskets, pillows, potholders, table runners, pouches, mug rugs -
the sky really is the limit for this hoppy friend.
