i'm pleasantly surprised

at how glad i was to walk in the door of our little house last night.
although so terribly sad that our wonderful weekend is all gone.
spent some good quality time with the grandma,
got the grand santa monica tour from the sister,
and most importantly,
did my absolute most favorite thing in the world
and went to anthropologie with my glenn mae.
as if my crafting urges weren't bad enough,
now i just want to plan out our lives in oregon,
starting our own awesome boutique together...

until then,
i will figure out how to make these two INCREDIBLE blankets we saw.
the second one is the most gigantic knitted masterpiece i have ever seen, the picture doesn't quite do it justice.

(the spun carnival and colossal cables throws from anthropologie. yum.)

  1. Love that crocheted afgan, what a fabulous idea. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving and that you got home safe and sound.

  2. Hey, just thought I'd mention that both of these quilts were marked down last night. The crazy one is now $150 and the cream one is $100. Great prices for the beauty and skill of each one!

  3. ooohhh if only we hadn't just spent our last cent on plane tickets :[[[ i could justify buying that cream one for a hundred bucks, it was sooo beautiful!
